Board of Education-Superintendent Focus Goals
BOARD OF EDUCATION-SUPERINTENDENT FOCUS GOALS
BOARD OF EDUCATION-SUPERINTENDENT FOCUS GOALS| 2025-2026
The district’s 6 goals come from the 2020–2027 Strategic Plan, which guides our work in academics, life skills, innovation, digital literacy, communication, and capital planning. Each year, the Board of Education and Superintendent set focused objectives within these goals based on data and progress from the previous year. Throughout the year, the Superintendent provides updates to the Board, and at the end of the school year reports on measurable outcomes using state and local data. These goals are part of a continuous improvement process that builds coherence across schools and moves the district from early progress to sustained growth for every student.
| GOAL 1: STRONG CORE ACADEMICS Building solid foundations in reading, writing, and math School leaders will support teachers in using instructional practices aligned to New York State Standards in English Language Arts and Math. They will also strengthen the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to ensure every student grows and succeeds. |
