  • When: March 21st and 22nd, 2005 (4 PM to 9 PM each day ­ your child is there for approx. 30 minutes)
    
    Where: Valley Stream
    
        Remember: There are three (3) parts to the NYSSMA Solo Adjudication:
        1. Scales (which must be memorized)
        Levels 1 & 2: Three (3) Scales
        Levels 3 &4: Seven (7) Scales
        2. Solo (which must be chosen from the current NYSSMA manual)
        3. Sight Reading
    
    IMPORTANT
    
    You must have two (2) original copies of the music to NYSSMA. I will provide one copy ­ you must provide the other. You can find the music at any local music store.
    
    *If the music that you purchase comes with a piano part, you do not need a second copy. (The adjudicator will use the piano score.)
