VALLEY STREAM DISTRICT THIRTY IS A COMMUNITY ELIGIBILITY PROVISION (CEP)

At no charge to your household each school day of the 2024-25 school year

 

Although students will receive breakfast and lunch for the 2024-2025 school year at no charge, families are encouraged to continue to fill out the Household Eligibility Form (also know as the Free and Reduced Lunch form). Families who qualify for free or reduced status may be eligible for additional benefits through New York State such as grocery benefits, P-EBT, discounted utilities and internet access, fee waivers for SAT, ACT, and college applications, textbooks, and many more.

Student Meal Account Refunds

If you would like to request a refund for the positive balance in your child's student meal account, please use the form below. This form should be printed and submitted to your building principal.

A la Carte

A la carte items such as water and snacks are NOT ELIGIBLE UNDER CEP and are available for purchase only. These items cannot be charged to a meal account unless there are funds available in the account, or the student has cash/check at the register at time of purchase.

MySchoolBucks Online School Lunch Payment System

We are pleased to offer an online option to pre-pay for your child's school lunch. mySchoolBucks.com(r) is an on-line system that will allow you to make deposits into your student's school meal accounts using a credit or debit card when it's convenient for you, receive low balance email reminders, monitor your student's account balances online and view your student's cafeteria purchases.

New York State WIC - Together Growing Stronger Families

 

Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) is a special supplemental nutrition program that provides breastfeeding support, nutritious foods, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care providers to pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women and children up to age five.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) issues electronic benefits that can be used like cash to purchase food. SNAP helps low-income working people, senior citizens, the disabled and others feed their families. Eligibility and benefit levels are based on household size, income and other factors.
