Depressants are drugs that slow down your nervous system. Sometimes depressants are also called downers because they can make you depressed.

It could make you feel like you have been beaten up.

Although they may appear to calm you down, drugs are not good. If you overdose, drugs can kill you. They are not to be played with, and they are no laughing matter!
