VOTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Education Law (Section 2012), in regard to the qualifications of voters, states:

A person shall be eligible to vote at any school meeting for the election of school district officers, and upon all other matters which may bebrought before such meeting, who is:

a.  A Citizen of the United States , AND

b.  Eighteen (18) years of age, AND

c.  A resident within the district for a period of thirty (30) days next preceding the meeting at which he/she offers to vote, AND

d.  Duly registered to vote at School District Elections, OR

e.  Who is duly registered to vote in the General Elections, as certified by the Nassau County Board of Elections.
